The EVM-12L Black Label speaker is a 300w version based on the original EVM12L 12" loudspeaker that was introduced in 1983. Known for its huge tone, gorgeous low-end and incredible stability at extreme volumes, it quickly achieved legendary status. Top guitarists loved it not only for its sound, but also for its reliability. Tour after tour, the EVM 12L held up to the demands of the most punishing players. This is the official guitar loudspeaker of Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society built to his personal specs to improve power handling, magnet design and better venting.
The Electro Voice EVM12L Classic is a 200 watt version of the original EVM12L Pro-Line. The EVM12L Classic was designed for professional high-level, high-quality musical instrument and sound reinforcement systems. Used full range, the EVM12L Classic's frequency response is specially tailored to cut through the thickest mixes. The EVM12L Classic incorporates voice coil and suspension refinements for reliable operation. Power capacity is rated at 200 watts and features a rugged eight spoke diecast aluminum frame with a heat radiating back cover.
This is our Favorite Celestion speaker and it was Celestion’s response from many High End Boutique Speaker manufactures who were cloning the original Creambacks to sound so much better than the modern Chinese versions. Celestion decided to bring it in-house and redeem themselves with a new high-end version of their own built in England.
The G12H-75 Creamback delivers 75-watts of power handling with ease and has unmistakable G12H tone, with a tighter low end than the G12M-65 Creamback and a punchier, more dynamic high end. The H magnet brings additional focus, body and girth to the Creamback tone. It thickens single notes, resulting in a highly articulate, vocal character. These additional characteristics mean that the G12H-75 Creamback offers exceptional performance when used for lead guitar and sounds massive loaded into a Dynamo GT 412 cab!
The Neo Creamback is every ounce a Classic Celestion delivering all the magical tone you’d get from a traditional Creamback at around half the weight. Voiced to be “in between” the G12M -65 and G12H-75 Creambacks, you still get the low end punch warm vocal midrange and sweet refined highs the Creamback is famous for: push it hard and enjoy the ‘race-car growl’ that sets pulses racing. But pick up a cab that’s loaded with Neo Creambacks and you’ll see what makes this speaker truly different.
